I totally gave it away with that unintentional (I swear!) pun, didn't I? Yep: she drinks water. Lots of it, she says (well, I think she technically cursed when she described just how much), explaining that she "dehydrate(s) badly" and gets "cranky" when she stops drinking water.
Jen's onto something here. The side effects of dehydration include tiredness, hunger, and headaches--those would make just about anybody cranky, no?
Every day, your body needs to replenish the 2.5 quarts it loses so that your organs can function in tip-top shape. The American Dietetic Association says that you don't have to get all of this liquid back via water, though--the foods and other beverages you consume throughout the day also have some water content.
So how do you ever get dehydrated? Does not drinking enough affect your mood? What's your favorite beverage to sip?
